We welcome talented food and drink producers, artists, makers, photographers, wood crafters, ceramicists, fashion designers, and exhibitors who source their products ethically. Handmade wooden stalls are provided, measuring approximately 160cm x 75cm x 90cm, along with chairs for your comfort.
Opening hours: Saturday and Sunday 10am to 5pm (1st weekend of the month). Please note that we do not offer single-day bookings.

LocalMotive Markets returned to Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre (Leith, Edinburgh) this December with another magical Christmas Market, running across four trading periods: 6–7 December, 11–14 December, 18–21 December, and 22–24 December — bringing seasonal shopping, local makers, and plenty of festive cheer!

Taking place on the ground floor of Ocean Terminal, this cosy festive market featured a wonderful mix of stalls and proved to be the perfect spot for finding unique, handcrafted gifts. With the Royal Yacht Britannia next door and Edinburgh trams stopping right outside, it was a welcoming and much-loved destination for shoppers throughout the festive season.
Exhibitors joined us to be part of the festive magic, showcasing their products to Christmas shoppers in Leith, Edinburgh, and helping to create a warm, lively atmosphere across the market dates.
